CONDUCTAS PROSOCIALES EN EL BARRIO LOS PINOS DE LA CIUDAD DE BARRANQUILLA, COLOMBIA. (Prosocial behavior in los Pinos neighborhood in Barranquilla city, Colombia)
Abstract
Este trabajo pretende identificar y conocer las conductas prosociales de un grupo de personas residentes en el barrio los Pinos de la ciudad de Barranquilla. La muestra obtenida de manera intencional fue de 22 personas a las cuales se les plantearon escenas naturalistas relacionadas con conductas prosociales del tipo: cooperación, ayuda, altruismo y condolencia. Los resultados permitieron establecer que aproximadamente 40% de las personas consultadas se mostraron dispuestos a ayudar a sus semejantes. En términos generales las personas ayudaron más si la situación involucraba niños o personas cercanas física ó psicológicamente.
ABSTRACT
This test intends to know the extent to which people manifest prosocial behaviors toward their peers. The research was conducted in Los Pinos district of Barranquilla.The sample obtained intentionally was 22 families. Some natural scenes were proposed which structures were related with prosocial behaviors such as: cooperation, help, altruism and sympathy. The study also investigated the reasons that people had to help or to be indifferent. The results obtained allowed to establish that approximately 40% of respondents were willing to help. Overall the people helped more if the situation involved children or someone close physically or psychologically affected.
