MEDIDOR DE LAS PRESIONES EJERCIDAS POR LOS TEJIDOS BLANDOS INTRAORALES EN POSICION DE REPOSO SOBRE LAS ESTRUCTURAS DENTARIAS

Abstract

El objetivo de este trabajo fue diseñar un aparato que sirva en un futuro para realizar estudios que ayuden a esclarecer los factores etiológicos ambientales (hábitos, aparatos ortodónticos) e intrínsecos (componente anterior de fuerzas -CAF -, reducción de la longitud del arco con la edad, presión ejercida por la erupción de los terceros molares, factores idiopáticos y fuerzas originadas por el ligamento periodontal) que influyen en la posición dental. Para lograr este objetivo se modificó y perfeccionó el manómetro inclinado diseñado por Jiménez y cols. en 1990. Abstract The objetive of this projet was to design an apparatus to be used in the future in order to perfonn studies that will help c1earup the etiological en viro mental factors (habits, ortodontics apparatus), as well as intrinsic factors (anterior component forces A.C.F., decrease in arch length with aging, pressure exerted by the eruption of third molars, idiopathic factors and forces originated by the periodontal ligament) which influence teeth position. To obtain this objetive the manometer designed by Jiménez, Sánchez and Zapata in 1990 was modified and calibrated.
