Stress perceived by nursing teachers in SRAS-CoV-2 times: use of the EEP-10 scale and intervention proposal

Stress is inherent to living beings, in the case of humans it is related to different factors linked to the development of the subject's life Objective: to identify the stress perceived by the teachers of a nursing faculty in the city of Bogotá, in times of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. In addition, a nursing care strategy is proposed Methodology: A quantitative, descriptive approach study, where the EEP-10 scale is used, in a group of university professors. Results: It is evident that 52.2% of the teachers who participated in the study presented a high score of perceived stress. In addition, personal and external issues are related, which alter the behavior and way of acting of teachers. Conclusions: This research process recognizes that perceived stress is a situation that affects university professors, so it makes an additional contribution, such as a proposal for intervention from nursing, to be applied in subsequent research processes carried out in the area.
