Information technology is being introduced into different sectors of society and is increasingly being introduced into trade procedures and economic relations. The information technology within the framework of International Economic Law had recently been incorporated into academic studies. The present article focuses on an aspect that relates to the regulation of international trade and electronic commerce through the new concept of trade facilitation that implies the application of information technologies as a complement to GATT and GATS rules.
